Teaching yoga can be deeply fulfilling—and also isolating, confusing, and overwhelming at times.
Behind the Mat is a space created for yoga teachers (new and experienced) to come together, share honestly, learn something new, and leave with a clear action step each month.
This is not another training or workshop.
It’s a supportive, gently facilitated circle where real conversations happen.
Each 68–75 minute session includes:
A brief grounding and fun virtual warm-up
A monthly theme or short educational share
Group Q&A and collective brainstorming
Space for feedback, reflection, and accountability
A clear takeaway you can apply immediately
Come as you are—camera on or off, notebook ready or just listening.
New yoga teachers looking for guidance and reassurance
Experienced teachers craving inspiration and community
Teachers navigating burnout, transitions, or self-doubt
Anyone who wants to feel less alone in their teaching journey
Free monthly virtual event on Google Meets
One-time registration (you’ll receive updates as new dates are added)
Open to up to 20 participants (waitlists available if openings become available)
Gently facilitated with a clear agenda
Questions may be submitted anonymously in advance
Because teaching yoga is more than sequencing poses.
It’s energy, boundaries, confidence, creativity, and care—both for others and yourself.
You don’t have to figure it out alone.
