Your Retreat Guides

Growing up in North Philly, my life wasn’t average. I lost my mother young and experienced neglect and lack of support. For years, I believed that because I survived, I was fine.
As I’ve approached my 30s and done deep therapy work, I’ve realized:
My nervous system has spent much of my life in overdrive.
Joy isn’t always easy to access when survival has been your baseline.
The childhood experiences I missed — summer camp, bonfires, slumber parties — still mattered.
Our inner child doesn’t disappear. It waits.
As a trauma-informed yoga instructor, I hold space with compassion, nervous system awareness, and lived experience.
This retreat was created from both my healing journey and my desire to experience the joy I once missed.
You are in safe hands.
Teairra is the founder of Nova Flow Medicine, a Sound Healer and wellness facilitator whose work blends sound, meditation, and breathwork into immersive sound journeys inspired by the rhythms of nature. She shares her sound journeys as medicine that feel both deeply calming and powerfully transformative-inviting participants into reflection, release, and a deeper reconnection with their true selves.
"Adult Summer Camp: Healing the Inner Child" resonates deeply with my work because healing is often about returning to the parts of ourselves that feel free, playful, safe, and fully expressed. Through sound, movement, breath, and connection, I create spaces that help people reconnect with their true essence and remember that joy itself is medicine.
